Police say at 9:25 AM Tuesday morning, officers received a report that a youth was in possession of a firearm and the youths location was unknown as they did not attend school. Shortly after, North Peace Secondary School went into lockdown mode.
A while later, a youth was located at a different location and apprehended without incident.
The lockdown at NPSS has been lifted. Investigation is ongoing.
