On Friday, January 10, 2025 at 3:10 pm, RCMP received a report of a suspicious occurrence involving a young child wearing a one-piece pink snow suit and a purple toque that had been walking in the area of 108th Street and 102nd Avenue.
Potentially, a black sedan car with potential front-end damage may be associated to the incident.
Police are requesting that if anyone was in the area between 2:30 pm and 3:10 pm and saw anything suspicious or unusual to please contact police. Police are also asking area residents who have security cameras on their homes to check the footage from the times above.
This investigation is in the early stages and the publicโs help will be invaluable in this matter,
said Constable Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations Officer for the Fort St John RCMP. Assistance from the public will help to shed more light on the totality of the circumstances and assist in advancing the investigation.
