After 30+ cm of snow fell from Wednesday to Sunday in the PG region, a warming trend has now moved in and with it comes some rainfall, particularly on Tuesday.
Approximately 15 mm of rain is expected Tuesday, just enough to make a huge mess on the roads as it begins to wash away the fresh snow we just received. Further rain totals are expected on Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures hovering around 4 degrees. Overnight lows will also be warm throughout the week hovering around 0.
It is too early to suggest when the warm trend will end but it is likely to stick around until the upcoming weekend.
Please drive carefully and drive to the road conditions.
