UPDATE 2 – Downgraded wind gusts up to 60 km/h from 70 km/h.

UPDATE – The wind forecast hasn’t changed. Northeasterly wind is expected to move in Tuesday afternoon gusting up to 40 km/h and then gusting to 70 km/h during the late evening and overnight. Up to 5 cm of snow, including blowing snow, is expected on Wednesday.

A weather pattern change is headed to the Central Interior beginning late Tuesday evening…

Wind gusts up to 70 km/h beginning late Tuesday evening and into Wednesday. Light snow is also in the forecast and with the strong wind gusts, white out conditions could occur on local highways.

This is just a heads-up that strong wind is quite possible just like we saw for much of Saturday (Nov 16).

An update will be posted to this story on Tuesday.
