Ended – Snowfall is expected in the PG, Quesnel regions Saturday…

The latest forecast for the PG region is calling for another round of snow for the weekend.

Up to 20 cm is expected to fall in the Quesnel region, particularly in the mountain ranges. Lesser amounts are forecasted for Highway 97 and Quesnel, around 10 cm.

For the PG region, 5 to 10 cm of snow is expected. It will be mixed with rain in the afternoon. It will also be windy with gusts up to 60 km/h.

Please drive to winter conditions beginning late overnight and all day Saturday.

** Please note, PJXM is dishing this out due to the fact that it is the second major snowfall for the area.. with the snow sticking around as the temperature will drop Friday night.

Once drivers are use to the snow, PJXM will only dish out snowfall warnings.
