Two women were arrested last week following a parking lot vehicle incident on Central Street East…
Police say the incident began during the noon hour on October 29, 2024, when a driver struck a parked truck. The two vehicles were stuck together at the bumpers.
Before RCMP arrived on scene, the incident took a twist. The driver switched spots with the passenger and the two women attempted to leave the parking lot only to strike the same vehicle once more, as well as a witness who was near the parked vehicle.
RCMP arrived on scene and both women were arrested for Impaired Driving. Both registered over the legal limit and were served with a 24 hour driving suspension, as well as a 90 day driving prohibition. The two will also appear in court at a future date.
No injuries were reported in this incident.
