UPDATE – Snow fall has arrived to the PG region and will be the city’s first major snowfall of the season, regardless if it sticks or not. Snow will change to rain later this afternoon. The wind speed is still up in the air, literally, so therefore it is still forecast to be around 60 to 70 km/h late Monday morning and into Tuesday overnight.
5 cm of snow and 13 mm of rain is expected.

PG residents be advised that latest forecast could bring some snow and high winds to the Prince George region beginning early Monday morning…

The latest forecast is calling for 2 to 4 cm of wet snow mixed with rain in as commuters head to work. The snow could change to rain late morning with an additional 5 to 10 mm.
Strong wind gusts are also possible for Monday. Up to 60 km/h winds.
Please drive carefully during the morning commute to school and work.
