One person has died following a single vehicle rollover in Taylor, BC, south of Fort St. John…

Police say on October 23, 2024 at 6:15 pm, the Taylor Fire Department responded to the collision scene located on Big Bam Road, located off the Alaska Highway. RCMP and BC Ambulance also arrived on scene.

Two occupants of a Jeep Liberty were trapped inside the vehicle after it rolled down a steep embankment and was stopped by a tree. The driver of the vehicle had to be extricated and was taken to Fort St. John Hospital with injuries. Sadly, the passenger in the vehicle did not survive the incident.

“The Fort St John RCMP has reason to believe alcohol may have been a factor and continue to investigate,” said Constable Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations Officer for the Fort St. John RCMP. “Our hearts go out to the family of the deceased during this difficult time.”
