A house fire late Friday (Sept 27) evening is currently under investigation after a person was located deceased inside…

Police say at 9:20 PM, officers responded to 2000 block of Quince Street in Prince George. Upon arrival, flames were coming out of the home. Officers assisted in evacuating nearby homes and statements were taken from witnesses on scene.

Once the fire was extinguished by fire crews, a person was located deceased inside.

Police also mention this particular residence is known to RCMP and has been subject to prior investigations.
