A pedestrian has died following a collision on Highway 16 on Friday (September 20)…
Police say just before 9:30 PM, officers from BC Highway Patrol and Vanderhoof RCMP were called to the scene of the collision on Highway 16 near Jardine Road.
Upon officer arrival, members located a deceased pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle that did not remain at the scene.
The investigation is active and police are looking to the public to help further the investigation.
If you were in the area of Highway 16 and Jardine road on September 20, 2024, between the hours of 9 – 10 pm and have dashcam footage, saw the pedestrian, or have any information regarding this tragedy, you are asked to call the BCHP at (250)-649-4004.
