The Prince George RCMP continues to investigate a serious crash that occurred last Sunday (Sept 15) between a taxi and a pickup truck…

Police say the crash occurred just after 2:30 pm, on Massey Drive between Del Laverdure Way and at Firehall No. 1, when a taxi crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck. Four people in the pickup truck and the driver of the taxi were not seriously injured, however, a passenger in the Taxi did not survive the crash.

Massey Drive was closed for several hours that Sunday afternoon while an investigation took place.

Investigators are looking for anyone who witnessed the crash or the driving behaviour of the vehicles shortly before the incident. Also, if anyone who was driving in the area has dash camera footage capturing the incident, police officers encourage you to call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to speak with a police officer.
