Police in Fort St. John are asking for the public’s help following a single vehicle rollover crash early Saturday morning…
Police were called to the scene in Charlie Lake just before 7 AM and upon arrival, located a rolled vehicle in the parking lot to a local business. The driver of a Toyota GR86 appears to have misjudged the exit to Jackfish Frontage and ended up rolling the vehicle through the ditch where it landed on its roof, pinning the driver inside.
Fort St. John Fire Services extracted the driver who was immediately transported by BC Emergency Health Services to Hospital for emergency care.

The vehicle was headed northbound on Highway 97 and it appears the driver misjudged the exit to Jackfish Frontage
, said Corporal Shawn Ingham, Watch Commander for the Fort St. John RCMP. We believe speed was a factor but are trying to understand the totality of the circumstances involved in this collision.
The Fort St. John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking that any drivers in the area who may have dashcam video or observed anything suspicious in the area between 6:20 AM and 6:50 AM, to please contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
