Police continue to investigate a shots fired incident from over the weekend…
On Sunday, August 18, just before 8:30 pm, officers were called to a home on the 700 block of Ahbau Street for multiple shots being fired at the residence.
Officers immediately responded and upon arrival learned that a man was driven away with possible gunshot wounds, while several people remained on scene.
Police officers could see evidence of shots being fired at the house, and arrested those persons still at the location. A search warrant was executed at the residence and investigators located and seized several firearms, ammunition, drugs and suspected stolen items. As this incident occurred early in the evening, police are asking that anyone who witnessed the event but has not yet spoken with police contact an investigator by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line,
states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The male victim was located at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was the only person injured during the incident.
All those arrested were later released, two with pending court dates for their involvement in this event.
This was a targeted and isolated incident.
