UPDATE – Keep updated using your weather apps or the Environment Canada website for those who do not use weather apps as the storm systems are now moving into rural areas in the Prince George region in a northeasterly direction, including a severe cell at Bear Lake.
There are also a number of power outages across the city and rural areas.

Instability on the severe side is moving into the Prince George and Southern BC Peace regions.

The storm system headed to the Prince George region is bringing with it some very strong wind gusts, heavy rain, hail and lightning. Environment Canada says the storm system is moving northeasterly at 30 km/h.
