UPDATE – The BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit have taken conduct of this investigation and are urgently seeking the public’s cooperation in finding Karen Tessier. Investigators believe that members of the public have information regarding her disappearance and have not yet come forward.

Police in Fort Nelson are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman…
Missing is 57 year-old Karen Tessier.
Tessier was last seen on July 9, 2024, in Fort Nelson.
Description of Karen Tessier:
- Indigenous female
- 57 years
- 5’5″ tall
- 177 lbs
- brown hair
- brown eyes
