UPDATE – Highway 97 is now reopened on this stretch but remains closed south of McLeod Lake due to a serious crash.

Motorists be advised that a second vehicle has closed Highway 97. The second incident is in the Pine Pass region between Old Hasler Rd and 5 km north of Powder King Rd.
No detour and no estimated time of reopening.
Next update is after 5:30 pm.
