Police are asking for the public’s help to ID a male suspect following a stabbing incident in a parking lot on Ahbau Street…
On May 25, 2024, just after 11 pm, officers received reports of people fighting in a parking lot on the 1400 block of Ahbau Street, near 15th Ave. When officers arrived, they located a man who had been stabbed several times. The victim was taken to UHNBC for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A Police Dog Service team was brought in to search for two suspects, one of which was caught a short distance away, while the other suspect remains outstanding.

“Officers have identified a person of interest in this investigation, whose image was taken from the surveillance at a nearby business. We are requesting that anyone who recognizes the man in the photo contact an investigator by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line. Investigators would like to speak with this individual as he may have information relating to this investigation,
states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Police officers are extending their thanks to all of the businesses who have assisted in this investigation by providing available video surveillance.
