Two men were arrested late last week following a collision involving two vehicles on a rural road near Dawson Creek…
Police say on May 23, 2024 at around 6:30 AM, officers were called to the collision scene on Rolla Road near the 212 Road in Briar. Upon arrival to the scene, officers learned that a SUV had turned in front of an oncoming pickup truck causing serious damage to both vehicles. Both the driver and passenger fled the scene on foot into the nearby forest.

A Police Dog Services team and the RCMP Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) attended the scene and successfully located both suspects in the forest. The two men were arrested.
The driver of the SUV, Jessie Fougere, 30, from Fort St. John was charged with the following
- Breaching a Release Order
- Driving while Prohibited
