Several people were handcuffed last week following a Search Warrant to a home on Nicholson Street…
Police say on May 3, 2024, PG RCMP’s Street Crew executed a search warrant at a home on the 300 block of Nicholson Street (the release doesn’t state whether it was South or North Nicholson Street) after a stolen vehicle was located at the home. The residence is the current home to a repeat, violent offender who is well-known to police.
Once the warrant was executed, officers arrested multiple people inside the home, including the violent offender. The primary suspect was held in custody and released back into the community on an Undertaking with attached conditions. The other people handcuffed were released on scene.
“This is not the first time in the last month that stolen vehicles have been located at this residence. The increase in criminal activity in the area has investigators focusing their attention on this residence and the people residing within, to better ensure public safety in the neighbourhood,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
The investigation is ongoing.
