Four teens from the Alberta Peace Region were arrested earlier this week after reports came in the youth were acting strange in a business parking lot…
Police say on May 7, 2024, a request came in early that morning from the Grande Prairie RCMP to be on the lookout for a stolen truck believed to be in the Fort St. John area. Information was later received that four male youths were acting strangely in the Walmart parking lot in Fort St. John.
When officers arrived on scene, they located the four youths and were subsequently handcuffed without any incident. The four youths were associated to the stolen vehicle request from earlier that day. One youth will be facing one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000. A second youth had a warrant out of Nanaimo, BC, and was arrested.
Police say the four teens are from the Hythe and Grande Prairie areas. All four were held and released to their parents/guardians. The primary suspect was released on an Undertaking with Conditions and a future court date.
