The Prince George Walmart will be closed today (April 19) after a pickup truck struck and damaged an exterior wall on the buildings eastside during the overnight…

Police say just after 2:30 AM, officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into an exterior wall on Southridge Drive.

When officers arrived on scene, they quickly located the youth driver who was then taken to UHNBC for treatment. The family of the youth was present at the scene of the crash and are cooperating with RCMP.

The youth driver was the sole occupant of the truck and wasn’t seriously injured.

Investigation is ongoing.
