On March 14, 2024, the Fort St. John RCMP Street Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant to a home located at 10017 92nd Street. During the execution of the warrant, two men and four women were arrested along with the seizure of many types of drugs, tobacco and a firearm.

Police say the house was set up like a drug convenience store with a sales counter just inside the door. It appeared that individuals were trading items or using prepaid visa/gift cards as currency in exchange for the drugs.

Officers seized meth, magic mushrooms, multiple pill bottles containing dilaudids and hydromorphone pills, cartons of unstamped tobacco, and 5 ounces of cocaine.

The suspect running the set up is likely to face serious charges in the matter.

The investigation continues.
