The Fort St. John RCMP arrested two suspects following a Break and Enter on Wednesday afternoon…

Police say at 5:45 pm, officers were notified of a residential B&E in the 9100 block of 89th Ave, in the Matthews Park area. The suspects gained entry by smashing a window to the home. The pair made off with stolen jewelry, car keys, cash, and gift cards.

Through investigation, officers obtained evidence that pointed to a potential suspect. A search warrant was issued to the suspect’s home and officers arrested two people inside. Most of the stolen goods were seized along with a small amount of ammunition.

Both suspects were later released and one was issued a court date for the end of May 2024.

No names are being released until charges are approved.
