Windy conditions to continue in the PG region Saturday…

The current weather forecast for Saturday is calling for gusty winds up to 70 km/h tomorrow afternoon.

A pattern change is sweeping across the region and with it is some unsettled warm weather that is making a mess of the roads with melting snow. Windy conditions will continue Friday night, gusting up to 50 km/h.

Expect a high around plus 8 Saturday and cooler night time temps around minus 6. A slight chance of a thunderstorm is also possible Saturday afternoon. Otherwise it will be rainy in the late afternoon.

On Sunday, the region could see a messy day with a mix of rain/snow otherwise it will be cloudy and cooler.

The warm weather pattern will remain for the next week.
