The Prince George RCMP is asking for your help following a motor vehicle incident that occurred during the morning hours of February 21, 2024…

Police say just before 7 AM, a vehicle travelling in the passing northbound lane on the Hart Highway near Bellamy Road crossed the center line and collided with a southbound vehicle. The northbound vehicle did not stop after the collision occurred.

Video below shows a vehicle travelling near the center lane of Hwy 97 when it strikes another vehicle, slams on the brakes but continues on. The vehicle in question would have front end damage to the drivers side.

“We are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash camera or video surveillance capturing the suspect vehicle. If you have any information on this investigation, please contact an investigator by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The driver in the southbound vehicle was not seriously injured in the incident.
