A driver and his dog had to walk the rest of the way home last Friday night following a traffic stop in Fort St. John…
Police say on February 9, 2024, at 10:49 PM, an officer was conducting patrols when they noticed what appeared to be a beer can resting on the trunk of a moving car. The officer conducted a traffic stop and entered into an impaired investigation where the officer administered a screening device test which resulted in a “Warn” test result.

The driver was issued a 3-day Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) and the vehicle was towed to the residence at the ownerβs expense.
Police are once again reminding the public to find an alternative way home if you have had too much to drink and/or have used cannabis.
