Police in Dawson Creek are looking for a driver of a vehicle who fled from officers in mid January…
Police say on January 16, 2024, BC Highway Patrol in Dawson Creek attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding and stunting. The driver however, parked the Chevy Malibu in a driveway and fled on foot.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and located the following items:
- A carbine with loaded magazine
- Hard body armour vest
- Drugs believed to be Amphetamine, MDMA, and Fentanyl
- $1260 in counterfeit money
The vehicle was impounded for 7 days. The offender in this incident has not been located.
