One person was sent to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries following a shooting at a home in rural Prince George on Friday…

Police say just after 1 AM on January 12, 2024, officers were advised of a shooting on a rural road in the Prince George Airport area.

“Officers, including the Emergency Response Team, are currently at that location as we continue to collect evidence in this investigation. Our initial findings indicate this was likely a targeted event and there is no increased risk to the general public. If anyone in the neighbourhood witnessed the event or saw something suspicious we ask that they please contact the Prince George RCMP to speak with police,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
