One person has died following a single vehicle rollover on Highway 97 south of Quesnel last Thursday evening…
Police say just at 8 pm, emergency crews responded to the crash scene near Lavally Rd on Highway 97. Investigation reveals that an SUV had been travelling northbound along the highway when the driver crossed the center line causing the vehicle to rollover into the southbound ditch.
The 43 year-old male driver of the vehicle did not survive the crash and was located deceased.
Highway 97 was closed for a short time while police investigated the crash scene.
