The Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit kept the pressure on local drug traffickers right up to the end of 2023, with a significant drug seizure just before Christmas…
Police say on December 20, 2023, the Street Crew Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in the College Heights. Investigators seized a large quantity of illicit drugs, including
- 2.5 kilograms of suspected cocaine
- 2.5 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine
- just under one kilogram of suspected psilocybin
- just under one kilogram of cannabis
- a stolen firearm
- drug trafficking paraphernalia.
“This represents another significant blow to the local drug trade and was part of an ongoing effort by the Street Crew team to identify and disrupt those trafficking illicit drugs within our City,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
The file remains under investigation.
