The latest forecast for Sunday evening and into Monday is snow. This could potentially be the first significant snowfall for the PG region so far this fall with up to 10 cm falling between late Sunday evening, overnight Monday and into Monday afternoon. The heaviest snow will fall during the overnight Monday and into Monday morning’s commute. Wind could also be a threat causing blowing snow.
Up to 10 cm may not seem like much snow but it could potentially cause issues Monday morning during the commute to work as the city does not have any snow at all right now. That means drivers are still accustomed to summer/fall driving conditions and throwing snow into the mix, we all know what happens.
Please take your time during the Monday commute, if you are working that day as it is considered a stat day!
If this forecast changes before Sunday evening, PJXM will update it.
