On Thursday, September 28, 2023, Smithers RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 call at a residence in Fort Babine.
When officers arrived on scene, they located an adult man deceased. One person was arrested at the scene and then later released.
E. Division Major Crime Section was called in to assist and now has conduct of the investigation.
Police say the individuals were known to each other and there is no risk to the greater public.
