A police investigation into a suspicious occurrence on Tuesday (Aug 29) in Rolla, a community west of Dawson Creek, is continuing…

Police confirm that they’re dealing with a possible shooting, however no victims or deceased have been located. The North District Major Crime Unit is now leading the investigation and processing evidence.

As of now, a 24-year-old man is considered missing. It is not known if the man is related to the property in Rolla.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Dave Daniel Domingo. He is described as:

• Filipino male
• 24 years old
• 5’9″ tall
• 240 lbs
• Brown eyes
• Short brown hair

“We appreciate that there are significant rumors and speculation within the community given the police presence and the investigative work underway. While we have been able to determine that we are likely dealing with a shooting, we have nothing to indicate at this time there is an ongoing threat to the greater public or reason for concern. This does appear to be a concerning, however is an isolated incident“, said Cpl Madonna Saunderson BC RCMP Communications.
