UPDATE – On Wednesday, August 24, 2023, Fort St. John RCMP located and arrested one man for committing an indecent act after an investigation into the reports received from the public of a man exposing himself to young girls while driving. Original release 2023-08-02
The man has been released on a number of conditions, including not to be found within 100 feet of parks, playgrounds and other areas where children under the age of 18 can reasonably be expected to gather. This includes streets and alleyways that may border parks.
The suspectβs name is not being released at this time, pending charge approval from BC Prosecution Services. His first court appearance will be Monday, November 27, 2023.
Police in Fort St. John are asking for the public’s help to identify a man allegedly engaged in Indecent Acts.
The RCMP has received two reports of a man driving a newer model Honda Accord around a local park and within the school zones in Fort St. John.
The man is described as
- In his 50’s
- wears a ball cap
- last seen wearing a blue medical mask in the car
- driving a newer model Honda Accord

Police say the man exposes himself to young girls.
Police are actively investigating the reports of indecent exposure and encourage members of the public to report any suspicious occurrences to the Fort St. John RCMP.
