Seven members of a floating party were found to be stranded on three separate islands within the Nechako and Fraser Rivers on Wednesday afternoon…
At approximately 2:30 pm, PG Fire Rescue, as well as the RCMP and BC Ambulance each responded to the confluence of the Nechako and Fraser Rivers for a swift water rescue.
When crews arrived to the scene, stranded people were located on three islands within the rivers.
Each person was rescued from the island by boat and brought back to shore.
