Police in Prince George are asking for further witnesses to a vehicle incident involving a pedestrian…
Police say at 11:45 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, officers were called to the 1800-block of First Avenue (near Fort Street) for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Witnesses on scene state a woman was crossing the road northbound when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The woman was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries. The driver stayed at the incident location and is cooperating with the investigation.
Police are looking for any additional witnesses who saw the incident occur or for anyone with dash cam footage that may have captured the event.
