The Prince George RCMP has currently shut down Highway 97 at Highway 16 to Upland Street and Upland Street at 20th Ave to Carney Street due to an on-going police incident.
RCMP say at 11:20 AM, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a home on Upland Street. Police are calling it a “dynamic situation”. The Emergency Response Team is on scene assisting the PG RCMP and nearby homes have also been evacuated.
Police say it is unknown how long the situation will be.
