The Hudson’s Hope RCMP is asking for any witnesses to a fatal crash that claimed the life of a teen from Fort St. John last Friday (June 30)…

Police say at 2:46 AM, officers from Hudson’s Hope responded to a single vehicle crash along Canyon Drive, just off Highway 29 near Hudson’s Hope.

Investigation reveals that the driver of a Ford pickup truck lost control after failing to negotiate a curve and went into the ditch. An 18 year-old male was ejected from the vehicle and three others suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe speed and alcohol to be contributing factors in this fatal crash.
