Environment Canada has issued a Rainfall Warning for the BC Peace, particularly in Tumbler Ridge where rainfall could reach up to 100 mm. There is a risk of flooding with debris.
Other areas like Fort St. John and Dawson Creek areas could receive 50 to 75 mm of rain by the end of Tuesday.

A long episode of rain, at times heavy, is expected.
A prolonged period of rain is expected.
Locations:
– Southeast Fort Nelson region, south of the Mile 202 Rest Stop
– B.C. Peace River
When: Monday through Tuesday.
Total Rainfall: 50-75 mm with amounts approaching 100 mm for southern areas of the BC Peace River District such as Tumbler Ridge.
Threat: Risk of flooding and debris flow.
Remarks: A significant and slow-moving low pressure system developing over central Alberta will bring a prolonged period of rain to northeastern British Columbia.
Rain will begin early Monday morning and continue through Tuesday night, eventually tapering off from north to south as the system slowly moves away.
