The Emergency Operations Centre in Prince George has closed. It will open again if necessary. The Evacuation Alert for the City of Fort St. John has ended as of May 17, 2023. The EOC is open in Fort St. John. Please check http://www.prrd.bc.ca for the latest. As of May 17, 2023.

Emergency Support Services has opened up here in Prince George for evacuees from wildfires in the BC Peace region.
Evacuees can head to the CN Centre if you need lodging. You can call 1-778-675-3735 for more information. You can also head to the Chetwynd Rec Centre for support, whichever you prefer, unless the area is full. PJXM has learned that Support Services in Dawson Creek is full and residents are being asked to head to Prince George if they need lodging.
