Police in Dawson Creek are asking for further witnesses to come forward after a man parachuted off the Kiskatinaw Bridge on Highway 97 on Sunday…
Police say two witnesses alerted RCMP of a man dressed in all black throwing a parachute into the air and then leaping from the Kiskatinaw Bridge on April 23 at approximately 3:15 pm. The man is believed to be engaged in BASE jumping or some form of extreme sport.
A search of the area did not reveal anything of concern, however the Dawson Creek RCMP are seeking further information about the circumstances surrounding the man on the bridge.
