A woman wanted last week by the Fort St. John RCMP was arrested yet again after assaulting an employee at a local business on Sunday…

Police say Erin McKinnon, a woman released by the courts on March 30, entered a local business on Sunday, April 2. An employee of the business asked McKinnon to leave but she obviously refused. Due to her constant shoplifting from the business, McKinnon was followed around the store by the employee, who was then assaulted by McKinnon.

McKinnon was on court-imposed conditions to not to attend the store at the time of the assault due to previous incidents.

Police say on April 3, 2023, officers located McKinnon and arrested her for Uttering Threats, Assault and Breach of Release Order.

McKinnon was held in custody until Wednesday April 5, where she made another court appearance.
