The Independent Investigations Office of British Columbia is seeking witnesses to last week’s mental health incident that took place on Hwy 97 south of Prince George…

The IIO is asking any motorist who travelled through the intersection of Highway 97 and Willowcale Road—or who were stopped for the police interaction—on Thursday, March 16, 2023, between 6:05 pm and 6:20 pm, with relevant information, or dashcam or other video footage of the incident to please contact the Witness Line toll-free at 1-855-446-8477 or via the contact form on the iiobc.ca website.
