UPDATE 4: An additional 15 to 20 cm is forecast for the Prince George region for Wednesday and Thursday overnight. As if February 1, 2023 at 8:20 am

UPDATE 3: A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until further notice. Except 15 cm of snow today in the PG region. Keep updated on road conditions for BC North here. As of January 31, 2023 at 10 am.

UPDATE 2: A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the PG region. The accumulation amount hasn’t changed and remains at around 30 to 40 cm over the next several days. Updated at 4 pm, PST JAN 30/23.

Monday January 30 UPDATE: Up to 35 cm of snow is expected by Wednesday with further accumulation Thursday and Friday. The accumulation could be higher as we progress through the week. We’ll update if it changes. We expect a Snowfall Warning will be issued at some point Monday or Tuesday.

JANUARY 29 – Winter snowfall is going to make an impact this coming week in the Prince George area with a long period of snow fall beginning on Monday…
While accumulation totals are still in the works, the Prince George area could receive up to 40 cm of new snow by Wednesday night as temperatures are set to rebound to near normal for this time of year. Accumulation amount will change as we progress into Monday.
Once we have further details, we’ll update this story to reflect those changes as expected.
