PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Two known men to the local RCMP have been arrested following an assault and kidnapping incident last weekend…

Police say on January 8, 2023, just after 7:30 AM, officers were notified from a man that he had been kidnapped and assaulted earlier that morning. The man was suffering from multiple injuries.

Officers attended a temporary structure on the 400-block of Ottawa Street (Tent community) where the victim stated the assault took place. Inside the tent structure were two men who matched the description of the suspects. Both were arrested.

The B.C. Prosecution Service approved the following charges:

Noah Damien Basil-Tom

  • Aggravated assault
  • Kidnapping
  • Forcible confinement
  • Fail to comply with probation

Daryn James Middleton

  • Aggravated assault
  • Kidnapping
  • Forcible confinement
  • Fail to comply with probation

Both suspects are known to police. The file remains under investigation.
