Motorists be advised that Highway 97 is CLOSED southbound at the intersection of Highway 16 West due to a vehicle incident.

RCMP say the highway will be closed for a few hours and to use an alternate route if headed south to Simon Fraser Bridge.

Alternate route would be Highway 16 East to the old Cariboo Hwy which leads back to Highway 97.
