Officers were called to the 800 block of Canada Games Way just after 6 AM Thursday and located a person deceased.
“The Serious Crimes Unit is investigating this matter and the death is currently being treated as suspicious. We will be liaising with our Forensic Identification Unit as well as the B.C. Coroner Service as the investigation progresses,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Police are asking that anyone with information pertinent to this investigation, or who has dash cam footage from the area in the early morning hours, to please call the non-emergency line to speak with an investigator. Please quote file number 2022-42862.
The investigation is ongoing.
