PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are on the lookout for two suspects following a break and enter to the North Cariboo Branch of the SPCA in Prince George late last week…

Police say shortly after 8:00 AM on August 5, 2022, officers were called to the SPCA at 4011 Lansdowne Road for a report of a break-and-enter, after an employee reported several of the dogs missing.

Officers attended the location and collected surveillance and other evidence and determined the break-in occurred in the early morning hours, around 4:00 AM.

“We are now reaching out to the public for help in identifying the two suspects in this file. Surveillance reveals that two people, dressed all in black, entered the building and stole two pit-bulls. If anyone has seen the dogs or knows who the suspects are, we ask them to call the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to speak with police. Please quote file number 2022-27847,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The investigation is ongoing.
