The Prince George RCMP and other emergency services are currently on scene at several flooded streets in downtown Prince George.
Frontline officers attended calls for service after several vehicles became stuck in high water on streets in the light industrial area off Queensway and on Winnipeg Street.
The Prince George RCMP would like the public to be aware of the following road closures and are asking the public to avoid the area while crews work to remove the excess water:
1st Avenue – currently single lane traffic between George Street and Ottawa Street
2nd Avenue – closed between Queensway and Ontario Street
Queenway between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue
Winnipeg Street – closed between 13th Avenue and 17th Avenue
