PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are asking for witnesses to come forward following another stabbing incident during the overnight of Tuesday…
Police say June 14, 2022, just before 2:30 AM, officers received a report of a man who was stabbed outside of a business on the 1500-block of 20th Avenue. When police arrived they located a 35-year-old man suffering from several stab wounds. Officers provided first aid to the man, who was then transported to hospital by B.C. Ambulance Services.
“Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who was in the area and witnessed the event,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations officer for the Prince George RCMP. “We are hoping they can provide us with information on the suspect, who is described as a shorter man wearing a hat, jeans and a dark sweater.”
The victim is remains in hospital and this file remains under investigation.
Police do not believe there is a connection between this incident and the investigation into a fatal stabbing on June 11, 2022.
